Skin Generics is launching onboard EasyJet in April, followed by Jet2 in May

Spanish skincare brand Skin Generics has partnered with EasyJet and Jet2 to launch two products from its Moisturising Range inflight.

These are the Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising Serum 28% Active Complex and Hyaluronic Acid Moisturising Cream 21% Active Complex. Skin Generics will be available onboard Easyjet from April and Jet2 from May. In travel retail, the brand is managed by On The Mark Consultancy.

Skin Generics has named Irish singer Nadine Coyle as its new Brand Ambassador. Coyle has been a fan of the brand since 2020, when she discovered it after looking for high percentage active ingredient beauty products.

Skin Generics products are inspired by Korean beauty innovations and deliver effective and affordable skincare for all ages and skin types.

Their focus is on unlocking the power of high-potency active ingredients that help battle signs of aging, boost moisture levels, brighten the complexion, and cleanse the skin.

The brand’s specialist formulas contain up to four times the amount of active ingredients compared to other leading brands. They are paraben-free, cruelty-free, and dermatologically-tested.

Skin Generics Director Mark Wood commented: “We are overjoyed with our new partnership which can only be described as a match made in heaven. With Nadine being a user and lover of the brand, we know this will be a long-term collaboration, where we will continue building our growth, distribution, and awareness.”

Skin Generics is mainly available in the UK and European domestic markets, with plans to expand into new areas in 2022 including the US, Canada, and South Africa. Skin Generics says that it continues to see double digit growth year-on-year as it continues to expand globally.

An updated government app will use barcodes to encourage families to switch to healthier food as part of heightened efforts to tackle Britain’s child obesity crisis.

The new feature, announced today as part of the Better Health campaign, will scan selected shopping items and suggest alternatives with less saturated fat, sugar or salt. Families using the NHS Food Scanner app will also be shown a “Good Choice” badge for items which could help improve their diet, the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) said.

Nadine Coyle said: “As a busy working mum, I find it hard to say no to my kid’s demands and often give in to “snack” pressure – even though I know it’s not that good for them. I had no idea some foods were so high in sugar, saturated fat and salt – so it’s great that the App gives you alternatives.

“I love using the NHS Food Scanner App and so does my daughter; she likes choosing the healthier swaps which is great – we are already making small changes through good food choices.”

Nadine and dietician Dr Linia Patel met with a family to talk about eating habits and to trial the NHS Food Scanner App for themselves, and recorded a short film to support the campaign.

The free App can be downloaded [HERE] or search ‘Food Scanner App’.

Due to air on ITV2 later this month, the hotly anticipated spin-off promises more epic performances and naughty night out antics as a new batch of stars make their way into the karaoke club to unleash their inner Lady Gaga.

Nadine will be joined by fellow dancefloor royalty, including Sophie Ellis Bextor, The Sugababes’ Mutya Buena and Pussy Cat Doll’s Ashley Roberts. The recording artists will treat the contestants with intimate performances as they prepare to snatch the crown.

The Drag Queens and Kings taking part in the upcoming series include Manila Luzon, Trinity The Tuck, The Vivienne, Danny Beard, Freida Slaves and Tete Bang.

Cara Melle, Gingzilla, Vinegar Strokes, Lil Test Ease, Mahatma Khandi and Crystal are also on the bill.

Both a hilarious and glamorous affair, Karaoke Club: Drag Edition will see stars from all walks of drag show off their performance prowess and entertain with epic solos.

‘Viewers should expect the unexpected in this spectacular drag extravaganza as the stars will stop at nothing until they own the stage and reign supreme,’ teases the synopsis. ‘Whether their voice is fire or dire, to make it all the way to the final, the stars will have to pull out all the stops to impress their fellow competitors because every karaoke singer is also a judge, with new stars joining along the way in a bid to steal the top spot.’

This brand new series comes after the second season of the Celebrity Karaoke Club, which aired in July.

Karaoke Club: Drag Edition, airs nightly at 10pm on ITV2 from Sunday 26th September. All episodes will be made available on ITV Hub from 26th September.
