As you may have seen on our Twitter or Instagram, one half of Nadine Coyle UK (Hayley) went to see our hair-flipping Queen at Birmingham Pride on Saturday, and got to meet her!
I cannot describe how even more beautiful Nadine is, in person, and such a sweetie! The meet and greet was before the performance, and although it was a really quick hello and a photo, I shall remember it for a good while.
As i had VIP, the main stage had a sectioned off area at the front for us special people. I managed to get to the front.
When the backdrop visuals changed for her set, i got massive goosebumps. Her female dancers came on stage first and then her male dancers bought her on. I was shaking the whole time, singing as loud as i could and dancing along the best i could in the very small space i had around me!
Her setlist:
• Go To Work
• Something Kinda Oooh
• Gossip
• Sound Of The Underground
• Call The Shots
• Girls On Fire
• Go To Work/Something New
After she sang SOTU, she rushed off stage. An announcement was made that we had to evacuate the VIP area due to a lighting rig hanging off the roof of the tent! That lasted about 20 minutes and was quite a stressful time as we lost our positioning and put a slight dampner on it all! However I still got to the front for her last 3 songs. I even shed some tears during Call The Shots as i just could not believe what i was seeing!
I managed to take some video clips and put it into 1 video for you all. I didn’t get a video of a full song as i was taking photos too. Just to mention, I have not sped up the audio on this video!
Apologies for my singing in the background!!
I have also added 79 HQ photos to the gallery which you can view below.
She still has some festival dates coming up, see the left hand bar for details. I do hope you can go to see and support her as it’s one gig you will never forget!
Our girl had a busy day yesterday, and she ended the night green!
Nadine attended the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year Awards.
Being an ambassador for this year, she was there to present the evening (With Rylan) and award the final winner for 2017. She even performed Go To Work for the crowd.
We have over 80 HQ pictures from this event in the gallery, so click the thumbs below and enjoy!
“I wanted this video to hold a slight homage to those ’80s flicks like Working Girl, as well as those classic Diet Coke 80s ads.
“Nadine takes centre stage as Mega Diva Lady Boss, in an office filled with her intern babe squad. I wanted the video to work like two loops, with each loop becoming a little more surreal and hyped up as Nadine struts through it and the edit progresses, props and loose choreography changing and developing subtly throughout. The vibe of the video is embracing female power but with an editorial high fashion edge.
“I really enjoyed collaborating with Nadine when it came to shaping her performance for the video. The vibe needed to be that perfect mix of being fierce but also slightly tongue-in-cheek with a cartoon like playfulness to it – and she totally nailed it!”
